South Africa Department of Transport Internships.
The Department of transport is in charge of the guideline to Transport in Southern Africa. This includes civil aviation, public transport, rail transportation and shipping of all freight and motor vehicles. They are a transport infrastructure that remains crucial to alleviating poverty, generating economic growth, reducing inequality and international competitiveness.
Their division engages with employers in both the community and private sectors, as well as with (Setas) to institutionalize work-integration and promote learning. The objectives that they aim to achieve in regulation are implementation and providing a policy framework which are to reduce time in transportation, safety, security improvements, improve access, completive transport costs, reduce infrastructures and extend the work of the old industry training boards.
They mainly focus on a structured place of work, including education and promoting partnerships between training institutions and employer. The workplace is generally more effective if on-the-job training is combined with academic study or training is given right away after studies are completed. This increases a student’s chances to finding appropriate employment.
The Government departments, National departments, local level, Provincial as well as SOCs in progress are to increase their intake of talented youth for apprenticeships, internships and learnerships. If you love transport and all that it includes, this Government Department may be ideal for you.
