ABOUT THE BURSAR
GIBB, an engineering consultancy, was founded in Cape Town 1956 by Leo Kaplan and David Hill. The company was the first multi-disciplinary electrical and structural engineering consultancy in Cape Town, South Africa.
Decades later, and the company is still a leader in its field.
ABOUT THE BURSARY
The bursary will cover the following expenses: tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, stationery, travel costs and accommodation.
The bursary will be awarded to students that are studying towards an Engineering Degree, specialising in one of the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Rail and Roads
(this includes Honours or Masters degrees)
Students will be required to work at a GIBB office in South Africa during the vacation period, as well as to undertake employment on completion of studies.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must ensure that they satisfy the following minimum criteria before applying:
- South African citizen,
- Full-time student,
- Studying in one of the aforementioned fields.
