APPLICATION PROCEDURE for students
We require certain information for statistical purposes, which we have to report to the Department of Higher Education each year. This is captured from the Application Form.
In the Application Form you need to enter a code a code for each of Home Language, Ethnic Group, What were you doing last year and Disabilities. Please select the right code that fits you for each of those from the lists provided below, then write just the code in the space provided in the form.
For example, if your home language is Xhosa, then in the space provide for Home Language on the form, just write the letter I.

APPLICATION FORM FOR STUDYING AT COLLEGE OF CAPE TOWN (FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS)
Please note that foreign students must submit their complete application forms and supporting documents to us AT LEAST 3 MONTHS before registration dates, to allow for the following:
- Processing of applications
- Postal services to send confirmation letters to their postal addresses
- Study visa application processes.
Postal services can often take up to 4 weeks, depending on the country, and visa applications could take up to 6 weeks in some countries.
