Taung Agricultural College (TAC) was established in 1965 and has undergone several institutional and governance changes until recently when the College registered a new curriculum with SAQA and received accreditation from CHE.
The College offers a Diploma in Agriculture in Irrigation at NQF level 06. The Irrigation Programme is a unique course and currently TAC is the only institution in South Africa offering the diploma in Irrigation.
