Cape Town Creative Academy How to Apply or Admission Procedure

How to apply:

STEP 1: DETERMINE APS BASED ON LATEST ACADEMIC RESULTS

In order to apply at the CTCA, a candidate needs a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an Independent Examination Board (IEB) certificate with an APS of at least 22.  Applications must include the applicant’s most recent Grade 12 academic report in order to calculate an APS according to the following values. Applicants who do not have a South African NSC or IEB qualification, (eg Cambridge International Examinations or O and A levels from various foreign examination boards)  will need to apply for Matriculation exemption from the Matriculation Board at Higher Education South Africa. (Visit the HESA website at www.hesa-enrol.ac.za.) Non-South African citizens must submit their school-leaving certificates – translated to English – to SAQA for evaluation (www.saqa.org.za). Applicants over 23 years of age, without Matric exemption, will also be considered, based on mature or current competence (see RPL).
