Real Estate
The Real Estate programme is designed to develop participant’s practical and theoretical understanding of the essential aspects of real estate marketing and property valuation. The competent graduate will be multi-skilled and be able to offer property marketing, building practice and property valuation services.
The Diploma prepares the graduate for a variety of career opportunities as a property professional or valuer in private practice, the public, financial or private sectors. Graduates may apply for registration with the SA Council for the Property Valuers’ Profession.

Distance Learning:-
Course is offered in distance Learning mode, therefore students from across South Africa may apply to register.
Study material is available electronically via CPUT LMS (Learner Management System) platform. Students must have internet access to login.
Distance learning students are welcome to attend the block-release sessions in Cape Town, but this is entirely optional.
Cape Town Campus:-
Fulltime:- Course is offered on Cape Town Campus, fulltime lectures during the day.
Part-Time:- Course is offered part-time on Cape Town Campus, evening classes from 17:15 to 21:15 on selected evenings
Block Release:- . Course is offered on Cape Town Campus:- 1 week attendance per quarter (proposed dates:- Block 1: 13 to 17 March 2024; Block 2: 15 to 19 May 2024; Block 3: 21 to 25 August 2024; Block 4: 9 to 13 October 17)
