How To Start Institute of Management Accounting and Strategy ACCA
Anyone can study towards a qualification in accountancy. Here are your choices:
- Do you have Grade 12 with English or Mathematics?
- You will need a minimum of level 3 in both English and Mathematics
- If you did Maths Literacy, you will require a minimum of level 4
- Apply online
Students who don’t meet the minimum requirements can do a ‘Foundation in Accountancy’
- Are you a Graduate in Accounting or Business Related Studies?
If you have completed a diploma, degree or equivalent that has finance content, you could be exempt from some or even a maximum of nine exams from the ACCA Qualification leaving you the Professional level exams to complete and time to focus on gaining your practical experience.

Payment Options

Full-Time Students
IMAS requires a deposit of R 5 000 from its full time students, with the remaining balanced being paid over a period of five months via a debit order from the guardian. All fees must be fully paid, before a student undertakes his or her exams.
No interest will be levied over the five months’ period, however beyond the five months, a prime plus 2% will be charged.

- Part Time Students
Students who are not yet registered with ACCA will be required to pay their ACCA Registration fee shown so we can apply for their exemptions.
IMAS registration fee equivalent to a deposit of 25% of tuition fee will be payable upfront, with the remaining amount payable over a period of five months via a debit order.
No interest will be levied over the five months’ period, however beyond the five months, a prime plus 2% will be charged.
