Pay is available in South Africa through Absa, Nedbank, Discovery Bank and FNB.
Can capitec use Pay?
Look closely, and you’ll notice that there are a few major holes in the current rollout of Apple Pay as a supported service.
The most glaring one being FNB’s omission, followed by some local favorites like African Bank, Capitec, Standard Bank and the new kid on the block: Timebank
Does Absa allow Pay?
Simply logon to the Absa Banking App. You will be prompted to set up your Absa Debit and/or Credit Card in the Apple Pay Wallet.
Select the Absa cards that you want to add to the Apple Pay Wallet.
You will then be taken through the secure verification process and your selected card will be added for Apple Pay payments.
