Angela Day Kitchen
The Angela Day Kitchen has some fantastic events lined up for August! For only R220 per person, you can attend one of their fantastic hands-on classes that are held at various times at the Lifestyle Garden Centre in Randpark Ridge. Choose from classes such as New Italian, Starters and Desserts, Thai, Indian, 30 Minute Gourmet and Bill’s Food, as well as various demonstrations on offer. Very affordable and highly recommended!
The classes are about R360 per person and run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Saturday afternoons. During this time students learn how to make the most divine eats and treats and then end off the course with a buffet-style meal hosted in the cooking school’s dining area and features their creations.They also offer Magic of Morocco course (R400 per person).

THE ART OF PARISIAN MACARON

French macarons are all the rage but quite tricky to make. Lila Bultel, an accomplished French pastry baker, will demonstrate step by step how to prepare a selection of French macarons: chocolate, raspberry, caramel and salted butter and pistachio. Learn the art of preparing the delicate shell and a variety of fillings. You will enjoy a delectable French cake for tea and everyone will take some macarons home.
