The multi-engine rating is a requirement for the ATPL, but may be added to your PPL or CPL if you so wish. It allows you to exercise the privileges of your licence in a multi-engine aircraft, increasing the safety, carrying capacity, speed and range of your flying operations.

Pass the multi-engine flight test as per SA CAA
