ABOUT THE BURSAR
The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA), one of the 21 SETAs in South Africa, is a skills development authority who are responsible for serving the energy and water sectors.
EWSETA are responsibile for the management of skills development within the National Skills Development Strategy III framework.
ABOUT THE BURSARY
Each year EWSETA offers bursaries for students pursuing their studies in Energy and Water related field.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Currently studying OR accepted to study at a recognised South African tertiary institution, in the Energy and Water related field
*Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged communities
HOW TO APPLY
Download and complete the EWSETA Bursary Application Form (doc version), or the EWSETA Bursary Application Form (pdf version).
Please include the following items in your application pack:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- First time tertiary applicants: proof of university registration
- Current tertiary students: full academic record to date
Complete application forms and supporting documentation must be submitted in one of the following ways:
