Friends of Design 3D Sculpting & Retopology
Take your 3D Models to the next level by learning how to sculpt & prepare them in perfect detail
So you know the basics of 3D Modeling, but now you want to step it up and create incredibly detailed objects – this is what our second 3D Modeling evening course can offer you. Here you will learn how to use Blender’s powerful sculpting tool, that enables you to create highly detailed models as if you were working with clay. From realistic characters to organic forms like trees or geologic formations – the sky is the limit! Additionally, you will learn how to use Retopology to create low polygon models and how transfer your sculpture’s details onto them. Become a modeling master and turn your concepts into creations that wow!
Course Requirements
Students should have working knowledge and understanding of the following:
- Adobe Photoshop & 3D Modeling & Texturing Basics or equivalent
Course objectives
By the end of the course students will have useable knowledge of the following:
- Use the Sculpting tool in Blender
- Plan a character model
- Sculpt a character in Blender
- Apply the sculpting tool for other purposes
- Work with the Sculpting interface
- Create High detail model
- Create a low polygon model out of a high polygon model (Retopology)
