IBM Interpret Financial Statements
Learners who achieve this unit standard are able to interpret an income and expenditure statement and use information in the statement to make a financial decision.
The diversity of financial reporting requires that we first become familiar with certain general financial statement characteristics before focusing on individual corporate financials. The meaningful interpretation and analysis of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements to discern a company’s situation forms the basis for smart choices.
