For those in the Public Sector who conduct job evaluations, recruit and select staff in a government environment, managers, shop stewards and those who have to ensure compliance with Labour Legislation.
On successful completion of this programme you will understand all the essential Human Resource Management concepts in local government, and will be able to manage performance, understand employment policies and procedures and optimise resource management by improving productivity. You will also be able to ensure compliance with Labour Legislation, evaluate a job and recruit and select personnel.

No admission requirements

Matric is not essential. The language of instruction is in easy to follow English. It is assumed that you are competent in communication, mathematical literacy,  computer literacy all at NQF Level 3, or equivalent.

  • Conduct skills development administration
  • Optimise resource management and improve profitability by measuring the factors that influence productivity
  • Ensure compliance with Labour Legislation in the workplace

Certification

Your IBM LGSETA Course Certificate will be issued indicating unit standards completed and credits earned. Credits can be used towards appropriate further study at any accredited training institution in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland and Lesotho.
