ABOUT THE BURSAR
IFA (Independent Field Advertiser) are the network marketing division of Clientèle Life, a financial service provider. Since the IFA Bursary Scheme was initiated in 2008, more than R8.5 million has been invested in bursary awards for more than 90 students in South Africa.
ABOUT THE BURSARY
Bursaries will be awarded to children of active IFA members, in their chosen field of study. The bursary value will be to a maximum of R60 000 per annum, which will help students to pay for tuition fees, prescribed books, accommodation and study equipment.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- South African citizen
- Under 21 years old at the time of bursary application deadline (30 April)
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in Matric
- Achieved a minimum of 50% for all subjects in Grade 11 and Matric
- Studying (or intend on studying) towards a full-time undergraduate course
- Studying (or intend on studying) at a South African tertiary institution which is recognised and accredited by the Department of Education
- Current university students: achieved a minimum of 50% for all subjects
- The biological child/ under legal guardianship of an active IFA who have paid there monthly business fee for a minimum of 12 months
- IFA member must remain an active member for the entire duration of your studies
HOW TO APPLY

The following items should accompany your application form:
- ID document (certified copy)
- ID photo attached to the form
- Grade 11 year-end results (certified copy)
- Matric progress report
- Current university students: Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Current university students (1st year): progress report
- Parents/ guardians proof of income (latest payslips/ letter from employer/ tax return statement, sworn statement if unemployed, latest financial statement if self-employed)
- Death certificates if one or both parents/ guardians are deceased
- Sworn statement if your parents are separated/ divorced
- Proof of legal guardian (where applicable)
- Motivational letter written by your parent/ guardian
