Payment Details

International Hotel School offers a range of payment options and payment plans for our full time, traineeship programmes. These various payment options can be discussed with the Hospitality Education Consults on campus.
In addition to the various payment plans, there are discounted options available.  For example:

Option 1: Early payment – 7.5% discount

A deposit payment is payable upon acceptance. Full payment of the balance of fees must be made by 15 December for the February intake or by 15 May for the July intake.

Option 2: Full payment by registration day – 5% discount

A deposit is payable upon acceptance with the balance paid in full before or on registration day.

Option 3: Instalment payments – interest free

A deposit payment is payable upon acceptance followed by a payments plan ending with the final payment ending 30 September. For those interested in option 3 a debit order needs to be signed and a credit check will apply.

You can now study with a student loan facilitated through International Hotel School.

We understand that applying for a student loan can be intimidating. Our International Hotel School Student Loan Facilitators will gladly assist you in facilitating your student loan application when you study with us.
To apply for a Student Loan through our Student Loan Facilitators you need to be a registered student at International Hotel School, or be a prospective student that has received a provisional letter of acceptance.

What happens on our open days? We’ll open up our campus and courses to you, giving you a taste of hospitality in action. Not only will we cover all the courses we offer with a short presentation, but you can sit back and enjoy a cocktail and cookery demonstration on the day as well. All our staff and current students will also be happy to answer any questions, giving you practical knowledge of campus life at International Hotel School and the hospitality industry before you start (and whet your appetite of course). Open days last about two hours.
Did we mention – it’s absolutely FREE to attend and you’re more than welcome to bring a friend along.
 

International Students

Students from other countries may study at International Hotel School upon successfully obtaining the relevant study Visas attainable from the South African Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence. No student may be registered for their programme until they are in possession of a valid study Visa. As the Visa regulations have changed in South Africa-please note that you may no longer be able to apply for/change your Visa status from within South Africa.
The valid study Visa is to be presented at registration.
Please note that according to South African legislation all international students require:

• A valid passport and study permit.
• Full medical cover with a South African based medical aid scheme.
• A proven ability to support themselves financially and to settle their fees.

Language requirement
The medium of instruction and examination at International Hotel School is English. International applicants for whom English is a second language may be required to undergo and pass specific language tests set by International Hotel School. All applications from international applicants are assessed individually.
Tuition Fees
Please note that all foreign students pay the same fees as South African students, but are required to pay their tuition fees in full before registration.
Most of the programmes commence in February and July of each year. Since it takes a lot of time to comply with all the necessary requirements, we recommend that you start with the application process as soon as possible.
The education consultants at each campus will be able to assist you and advise you with your application to ensure that you have all the required documents and processes in place.
