ABOUT THE BURSAR

Moore Stephens South Africa began operations in South Africa in 2003, after being established in 1907 in London. The Moore Stephens International Network (MSI) is one of the biggest accounting and consulting networks across the globe, with 626 offices in 103 countries. The firm is home to more than 27 000 employees and their services include: auditing, accounting, shipping consulting, and financial advisory.

ABOUT THE BURSARY

This bursary programme is for students studying towards a CTA degree and who wish to qualify as a CA. The bursary will cover all tuition fees, excluding textbooks and accommodation costs.
On completion of their studies, the bursary recipient will join the Moore Stephens team of Trainee Accountants and work towards becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying:

  • South Africa resident,
  • Achieved and “A” for Maths and Accounting in Matric,
  • Registered for a Bachelor of Commerce degree at a SAICA accredited University,
  • Achieved a minimum average of 60% for Tax and Accounting in 3rd year at university,
  • Self-confident achiever,
  • Held leadership positions in the past.
