Our company Herbert Smith Freehills has recently launched an International Legal Learnership Programme (ILLP), which is part of the firm’s ALT Services. We are looking at affording 20 law graduates the opportunity to participate in this ground breaking programme.
Just a brief background, we opened an office in Johannesburg at the end of 2024.  The team is now 36 strong, including 6 partners, 19 fee-earners and 11 Business Services colleagues.  The team’s hard work over the last year has been recognized with top awards including rankings in Chambers Global 2024, project finance and infrastructure journal IJGlobal and Euromoney’s Expert Guide to Women in Business Law.

Herbert Smith Freehills is looking for bright, technically excellent law graduates who have the capacity to learn quickly and work effectively as part of our fast-growing global team.

The 18-month programme offers the opportunity to:
