Scholarships and Bursaries

We want to make sure that talented students with potential can succeed on our degrees, regardless of your financial situation. That’s why we offer a great range of scholarships and bursaries. To find out more, take a look at the table below.
You’ll automatically be considered for a scholarship if you take part in our Applicant day. You can take part in an Applicant day even if you have/are predicted to get the grades you need. Depending on the scholarship you apply for, you could be awarded up to 100% of your tuition fees.
All scholarships are provided as a tuition fee waiver and any offer will be conditional on you accepting us as ‘Conditional Firm’ or ‘Unconditional Firm’ if applying through UCAS. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

Academic Scholarship Full and part-time students All applicants for all degree courses.  Your ability and performance at our Interview and Assessment Day and your tariff points.  The top performing candidates will then be offered a scholarship. 25% or 50% of your tuition fees
Pearson Bursary Full and part-time students Your POLAR 3 score (quintiles 1 and 2) taken from your UCAS application form, your tariff points (at least 240), your personal statement and your performance at our Interview and Assessment Day. 25% or 50% of your tuition fees

*POLAR3 scores – Classification of small areas across the UK, based on the participation rates of young people in higher education (HE). This classification is a new iteration of the existing Participation of Local Areas (POLAR) classification. Known as POLAR3, this new classification supersedes its predecessor, POLAR2. For further details please see the HEFCE website
