The programme is currently based at the East London Health Complex and the Port Elizabeth Health Complex although rotations will occur at other locations. The program is conducted in partnership with the Eastern Cape Department of Health.
Doctor of Pharmacy students will take up posts with the Eastern Cape Department of Health and will be based at one of the two complexes. During each rotation they fill the position of a ward pharmacist and are responsible for the care of all patients in that ward.
