Information science is an academic field that is primarily concerned with the analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, movement, dissemination, and protection of information.

Admission Requirements:

(a) Candidate must be in possession of a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in which at least sixty percent (60%) has been obtained in the final formal assessment (examination) of the appropriate subject.

(b) Candidate who does not meet this requirement may be admitted to the Honours study on the special recommendation or screening process of the Head of Department and the Executive Dean concerned with the approval of Senate.
