Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Studies GENERAL at UWC

The mission of Child Development and Family Studies (CDFS) is to improve the lives of all children and families by strengthening communities and building strong connections across research, policy, and practice.

Admission requirements

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following minimum
requirements:

Candidates must be in possession of a 360 credits qualification at NQF level 7 or equivalent in any cognate discipline.

A minimum of three years of working experience in the health or welfare sector is required.

A candidate may be admitted in terms of RPL with relevant experience, in accordance with Rule A.2.1.4 and approval of the Senate.

Additional supporting documents may be required by the University from time to time.

Selection – As only a limited number of students can be admitted to the programme, applicants will be subject to a selection procedure.
