Applications for the Sasol Bursary Scheme are now open for the 2024 intake. Hard working and innovative thinkers enrolled in Grade 12 this year are invited to apply.

The company awards bursaries to learners studying towards a B.Eng degree in either chemical, mechanical, civil, electric, electronic, industrial, mining and computer engineering, as well as chemistry, geology metallurgy and accounting.
The number of bursaries awarded each year is dependent on the business need.
Fields of study
The Sasol Bursary Scheme offers bursaries on the basis of a service-binding contract after graduation for a period equal to the tenure of the bursary.
Applications may be submitted for one of the following fields of study:
B Eng or BSc Engineering
B Sc
B Com
Chemical
Chemistry (Masters compulsory)
Accounting/ BBscience CA Stream (CTA, PGDA compulsory)
Mechanical
Geology (Hons compulsory)
Electrical
Metallurgy (Hons compulsory)
Civil
Industrial
Electronic
Mining
Computer
Note:
No bursaries are awarded for fields of study not listed above. Bursaries are not always awarded in each field of study every year.
Applicants should submit an application based on a real interest in the field.
Under Graduate and Post Graduate applications should be submitted to Sasol by no later than 31 March this year, for next academic year.
The closing date for applications is 31 March.

Bursary Inclusion:
The scheme is comprehensive and boasts an all-inclusive package which includes registration and tuition fees, accommodation, pocket money, and allowance for books and meals.
Sasol bursars are also rewarded for academic excellence during their studies and vacation work (with a paid salary). Upon completion of their studies, the bursars have an opportunity to be employed at Sasol through the company’s graduate development programme.
