MODULE 13

HOLISTIC MASSAGE:

  • Swedish Massage Technique.
  • Most popular massage offered in Spa’s.
    Muscles of the Body, Infra-red and Vibratory Massage.
  • 5 Case Studies x 4 each. Module 5 required for ITEC.
  • Module 17 is required.
    Note: Not Therapeutic Modality.
  • First Aid. SAAHSP. ITEC (optional) and BTI.

MODULE 14

NUTRITION & BODY ASSESSMENT:
PRICE: R2 250 – KIT: R1 625PRACTICAL AND THEORY: 30 MAX HOURS
  • Analyse the body with ease.
  • 5 Basic food groups, Obesity, Anorexia, Bulimia,
    Dietary guidance, Deficiencies, Vitamins and Minerals,
    Food labels, Soma types, Corrective exercise,
    Treatment planning, Measuring, Calipers
    and Body Analysis Consultation skills.
  • BTI.

MODULE 15

BODY SLIMMING ELECTRICAL TREATMENTS:
PRICE: R5 450 – KIT: Add R250 to #14PRACTICAL AND THEORY: 110 MAX HOURS
  • Clients want to be slim and fit. Learn about Body Galvanism and Iontophoresis, Vacuum suction, Muscle Stimulation Faradic, G5, Interferential & Infra – Red.
  • Pre-treatment Body brush and Body Exfoliation.
  • Sunbed, Steam & Spa Treatment theory, Module 14 and Module 10 is required.
  • 3 Case Studies repeated 3 times. BTI and ITEC.

MODULE 16

EXERCISE THERAPY:
PRICE: R1 100 – BOOK: R225THEORY: 25 MAX HOURS
  • All aspects of Physical education.
  • Isotonic; Isometric; Body movement;  Posture;
  • Movement  for  different  stages  of  life.
  • Recommending exercises to a client.
  • Personal training,
  • Pregnancy exercises. BTI.

MODULE 17

ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY – FULL:

  • Preparation for any module where A & P is a pre- requisite.
  • The basis of beauty, health and skincare studies.
  • Includes the study of all the Minor and Major systems of the body.
  • Cells and functions of the skin including dermatology.
  • Advanced A+P for Skincare, Massage and Complimentary Health Therapists.
  • Can attend lectures in Cape Town or learn on your own.
  • ITEC (optional) and BTI.

MODULE 18
