PUBLICATION OF EXAMINATION RESULTS: MAY/JUNE EXAMINATIONS
The ENVISAGE date for examination results publication is 15 December 2024.
Results will be published on the TUT Website.
Students who have outstanding balances on their student accounts will not get any results.
Students who need a hard copy of their results should e-mail the Distance Education Unit to request a hard copy, which will be e-mailed to the TUT4Life e-mail address.
Distance Education Unit will e-mail the individual results during the 2nd week of January 2024 to your TUT4Life e-mail address.
Students have until 27 January 2024 to query their examination results or to request a re-mark of the examination script; no late examination enquiries will be accommodated.
A subminimum of 40 > is needed in the examinations and a final mark of 50 > to pass a subject.
PERFORMANCE CODES
FX –Absent from examination
FJ – Supplementary examination granted. This code is used for the main examination and it indicates that a student is allowed to write a supplementary examination during the next examination period.
FZ – Fail subminimum. This code is used to indicate that a subminimum of 40 > as required was not obtained during the main examination and a supplementary examination is granted and will take place during the next examination period.
FR – Fail subminimum in supplementary examination, did not obtain 40 > during the examination, student must re-register the subject the following academic year.
P – Pass
PD – Pass distinction
PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
Take note that no examination or final marks may be obtained telephonically, all results will be published on the TUT Website as from date of publication and updates will be done daily. Results of students with outstanding balances of R100 or more will not be published. Publication of final examination results is 15 December 2024; please do not enquire before the date.
The closing date for examination enquiries is 27 January 2024.
Results will be available for a period of one month from date of first publication on the TUT Website. Thereafter, the student has to request an academic record as prescribed in the ACADEMIC RECORDS web page.
The fee for examination enquiry about results after the closing date is R44 per enquiry.

INSIGHT, RE-CHECKING AND RE-MARKING (Please adhere to the closing date 27 January 2024).
The Insight, Re-checking and Re-marking form should be printed, completed and faxed or e-mailed to Distance Education before or on 27 January 2024 together with proof of payment of the relevant fees. No late applications will be accommodated.

A turnaround time of fourteen (14) days is applicable. Please do not enquire within fourteen (14) days after the date of your e-mailed or faxed application. Enquiries done before the fourteen (14) days expired will not be attended to.
