UFS BML – Tuition fees, payment dates, and banking details

Tuition fees are calculated per semester. All fees must be paid on time, regardless of whether an account was received or not. It is the responsibility of the student to supply the university with his/her correct contact details and to make inquiries should he/she not receive an account.
All accounts are mailed to your studentnumber@ufs4life email address.

1. Fees are calculated according to the amount of R220 per academic credit. The total fees for the academic year depends on the amount of credits registered, but it should be approximately R22 000 per year. (Excluding the UFS annual registration fee of R950)
2. Tuition fees include all study material, but not meals and accommodation or travel expenses.
3. There is an escalation of ± 10% per year on fees.
4. Registration costs are subject to change

Unfortunately we do not issue pro forma invoices or quotations. As soon as you are selected for the programme and we have received proof of payment of the application fee, pre-registration amount and/or an official bursary letter for 2024 from your employer, we will be able to register you on the system.
Only once you are registered, will it be possible to provide you with a detailed tuition fees account (made out in the student’s name and details) indicating the individual module amounts together with the total outstanding balance for the year.
PAYMENT DETAILS FOR TUITION FEES

1. All balances for 2024 must be zero
2. Prepayments are due five (5) working days prior to registration. Students will not be able to register until these amounts reflect as credit on their tuition fee account.
3. Should the tuition fees be less than the prepayment required, the full amount is payable.

31 March 2024 Second Payment – pay all first-semester fees.
30 August 2024 Third and final payment – settle tuition-fees account in full
International students
January 2024 First payment – 5 days prior to registration – prepayment as indicated.

30 June 2024 Third and final payment – settle tuition-fees account in full
