USB vacancies career opportunities
USB exposes its students to potential employers at events throughout the year, such as lunch-time talks, networking and company visits.
- Lunch-time talks and cocktail events by companies visiting the campus: Topics covered in the past included advice on personal development, coaching, job search and networking.
- Job listings on our Student Portal: The Career Services office is in contact with suitable organisations who are interested in employing our students. They provide us with vacancies, which are posted on the Career Portal on the USB website and posted on the Career Board outside Lecture Hall 210 on the Bellville Park Campus.
- The annual USB Career Conference in July: Each year on a suitable day during the winter time the campus is abuzz with students and people from industry, who take part in a small expo and present interesting workshops. This event includes ample time for networking.
- Networking with alumni and corporates: This happens during the Career Conference, at networking events organised by alumni and at lunch-hour talks and cocktail events.
