Vega : Advanced Certificate in Professional Photography (Part Time)

18 MONTHS PART TIME  | NQF LEVEL 6 | 120 CREDITS | SAQA ID: 71634
This intensely engaging programme is designed to reveal the photographer’s singular aesthetic vision through significant artistic and technical growth. This allows the photographer’s particular field of specialisation to emerge. The student will learn everything they need to know about professional photography whilst discovering their unique ‘visual voice’ that makes them and their work strongly differentiated. Brand, business and entrepreneurial components are included in order to enable the photographer to develop a business model suited specifically to the genre of photography they are most passionate about to professionally pursue.

Entry requirements

A Higher Certificate or equivalent in an appropriate field.

All candidates are required to attend an interview, and to submit a creative portfolio, which needs to meet the criteria set by a specialisation Panel. IIE Higher Certificate in Photography (HCP) graduates are exempt from this, but are required to submit their final results and attend an interview.
