2024 Amplification/Social Media Intern at Ginkgo Agency
The amplification/social media intern role sits within the amplification department and reports directly to the amplification manager. The purpose of the role is to directly work on, benefit, monitor and supply creative strategy solutions to the social media accounts relevant to the company and/or specific projects deemed relevant by the company.
Priorities and accountabilities

- Execute effective social media community management skills for all the social media accounts of the company, using the tone and style of each account appropriately, whilst maintaining the highest level of professionalism in full knowledge that you are representing a brand to a unique audience.
- Create, write, and edit copy for social accounts and other projects as deemed necessary by the company.
- Strategise and take a hands-on approach in all creative briefs, meetings and documents relating to the social accounts applicable to the company.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and the public where given permission and where deemed necessary by the amplification manager.
- Prioritise organisation, record-keeping, note taking and efficiency in all tasks and interactions.
- Work to deadlines set out by the amplification manager.
- Effectively use and maintain the amplification team’s archiving and file-sharing system for all social media accounts and projects, as per the company’s standards.
- Source appropriate, relevant, and new articles for content creation on social accounts associated with the company.
- Monitor all social media platforms when instructed and to report any discrepancies, issues and/or concerns to the amplification manager.
- Assist in the collection of statistics and data for weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and miscellaneous reports as per the instruction of the amplification manager.
- Take initiative to constantly learn more about writing, researching, social media, and content creation techniques and trends.
- Manage and take responsibility for one’s own workload, whilst effectively managing expectations and delivering on deadlines.
- Carry out miscellaneous and on-the-spot tasks and instructions as delivered by the amplification manager.
- Endeavour to be an asset to the amplification team and company in all situations, being pro-active and having a positive attitude in all tasks and incidents that arise.
