Qualification(s):
• B Sc Eng/B Eng in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer , Civil , Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering
• Professional Registration as Pr Technologist : ECSA
Experience:
• Extensive experience in engineering design , design integration and engineering management in power generation technologies for materials handling plant, low pressure services plant, chemical plant , boiler emissions control , milling , draft group , burners, power plant , processes , turbine centre line, pumps, gas turbines , high pressure equipment, feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plant and related chemistry systems, electrical , C& I and civil
• 7 years post qualification experience: B SC Eng. / B Eng.

Key Responsibilities
• Provides professional technical leadership over senior engineers and engineers within their own discipline
• Provides complex technical consulting and investigation service for customers
• Produces and integrates complex engineering solutions/designs for asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifecycle
• Develops and approves discipline specific philosophies , technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications
• Develops discipline- specific technology vision, strategy and direction setting
• Plans and controls discipline- specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications
