99 Loop Gallery is looking to hire an admin and sales assistant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate would be people-oriented, intuitive and highly motivated to learn about exhibition design and the practicalities around it.
This position focuses on administration, logistics and sales. A willingness and capacity for this, as well as a friendly demeanor, are important.

- Exhibition and installations assistance
- Client liaison
- Logistics
- Artwork administration
- Social media planning
- Correspondence with artists
- Front of house
- General administration
- Inventory management
- Art handling/packaging
- Writing about exhibitions
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification
- Experience in the field
- Advanced computer literacy/acquaintance with the Adobe suite
- Bilingual
- A strong work ethic, self-motivated, takes initiative
Working hours:
Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
Saturdays: 10:00 – 14:00
Additional hours during prep, openings, First Thursdays and fairs will be required.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
