Job description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced market researcher with sound qualitative and quantitative research experience to join a well-renowned market research agency as a research manager. This innovative, rapidly growing business is seeking an ambitious research manager to join the organisation as it continues its impressive growth story.

Key performance areas:

  • Designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research projects from commissioning to final presentation without supervision
  • Designing questionnaires and moderator and interviewer guides
  • Briefing field teams and monitoring progress on projects
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of data and preparation of reports
  • Generating consumer insights and recommendations that produce strategic insights for clients
  • Preparing presentations and presenting findings to clients

Research logistics:

  • Taking client briefs, preparing research proposals (background, objectives, proposed methodologies, and samples) and costings
  • Client and fieldwork partner liaison on inquiries and projects
  • Managing the project team
  • Oversee the preparation of all research materials
  • Managing deadlines and cost efficiencies of projects
  • New business development
  • New product development in conjunction with other departments (conceptualisation and implementation)

 

Requirements

An experienced market researcher with sound qualitative and quantitative research experience, specialising in quantitative research. Six to 10 years’ experience.
Education: Relevant tertiary education – psychology major and honours would be an advantage.

Remuneration: Commensurate with qualification and experience.
