Job Description
Business Intelligence
Analyze, model, design and test data warehouse and business intelligence components
Develop basic SQL queries and stored procedures for MS SQL Databases
Working closely with BI Data Analysts and technology team to ensure success of the deliverables
Generate reports in relational database and dimensional modelling and ETL design tools
Documents reporting processes, code, requirements and maintains compliance and governance procedures
Providing small to medium enhancements to custom BI related software systems
Troubleshooting BI tools, systems, and software
Integrate reporting tools and other technologies with other key enterprise business applications.
Business Analysis
Identify business issues and data challenges of the organisation and industry.
Identify client organisation’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
Define business requirements specification
Developed functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
Assist with Solution Design
Develops test plans
Document processes, where required
Works with client personnel to identify required changes.
Application Support
Provide input and support in technical application requirements
Create Requests for Change for all changes implemented or requested
Ad-hoc Application Testing incl. Automated, Functional, Unit and Regression
Use of ICT tools, e.g. service desk for all support calls
Troubleshoot and bug-fixing, conduct root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions implemented
Constantly evaluate and make recommendations for improvements to support ICT and business
Document and file all functional requirements, technical specifications, test cases, test results
Monitor applications continuously to ensure reliability, stability and security to reduce organizational risk

Create Support Scripts
Job Requirements
• Minimum 3-year National Diploma in ICT or related discipline
• Understanding of Windows application and supporting software and hardware
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
• Excellent team player and good communication skills
• Basic understanding of Systems architecture
• Basic knowledge of databases
