2024 Sales and Operations Internship at Imperial
Interns are recruited annually from various tertiary institutions for participation in a structured Internship Programme. The rationale behind the programme is to increase skills within the company as well as the industry.
This programme also addresses succession planning and transformation objectives.
This is a generic structured programme that assist companies to expose and develop the interns.
The internship programme is a 12 month programme and permanent employment upon the completion of the programme can not be guaranteed.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Position Overview Hyundai Sales and Operations department is looking for a Jnr Business Development Manager to assist in liaising the relationship between the Dealership network and Head Office.
This position will gain exposure to sales, marketing, operations, finance, service and all other aspects of Head Office and Dealership retail operations.
The candidate will learn to manage business operations at retail level with exposure to the importer business functions. The candidate will be expected to be highly proficient in excel and have an ability to analyse numerical data.
o This Intern would be expected to assist in the collation and analysis of data from multiple sources. They should have the ability to analyze data and turn this into information able to be shared among peers and dealers.
Specific Role Responsibilities
o The Intern would accompany the BDM’s on local (Gauteng) dealership visits and assist in business management at dealer level covering all aspects of sales and operations within the dealership environment.
o The Intern would also be expected to assist with the management, planning and operations of dealer specific events and meetings and attend such meetings with the ability to contribute and to perform an administrative tasks associated with these meetings and events.
