Opportunity Description
Looking for an internship in arts administration?
UJ Arts & Culture, a division of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Johannesburg, is currently recruiting for their 2024 internship programme. Through these internships, UJ Arts & Culture is looking to help young professionals under the age of 26 find their feet and future direction. Energetic, ambitious and qualified young people can look forward to a phenomenal learning experience at the UJ Arts Centre.
The internship programme is specifically designed for newly qualified graduates, giving them an opportunity to enter the job market for the first time and provide them with valuable workplace experience. “With these internships, UJ Arts & Culture set out to invest in the employability and job readiness of recent graduates who show potential and interest in these roles and the creative sector. The high unemployment rate in South Africa results in an extremely competitive job market and programmes like these serve as a stepping stone for young professionals,” says Pieter Jacobs, Head of Arts & Culture at the University of Johannesburg.
