2025/2026 GP Social Development Internships

The Ministry of Social Development, in line with the Ministerial Handbook, is charged with rendering professional administrative and support services to the Executing Authority.

The Gauteng Department of Social Development offers exciting opportunities to suitable candidates for potential placement in our Internship programme.
The intention is to give practical work experience to those students who are in their last year of study (BA Social Work) and require In-Service Training in order to obtain their qualification and those recently graduated but unemployed and require exposure in a work environment.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEMENT EQUITY PRIORITIES
Successful Candidates will be expected to enter into a 12 months contract for 2025.
