Highbury Media is a large independent magazine publishing company who is seeking to appoint a photography assistant to join its experienced and dynamic team of photographers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing hires images while photographers are shooting
- Backing up photographers’ work on hard drives and server
- Maintaining and assisting with social media images, behind the scenes
- Booking shoots into the calendar
- Assisting on shoots if required
- Collecting and returning equipment
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable about photography, diploma a preference but not a must
- Passionate about product, decor, food and studio photography
- Ability to work independent and understand the needs of photographers
- Good understanding of studio lighting and equipment
- Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Bridge literate
- Drivers licence
- Own transport could be advantageous
- Able to follow instruction well
- A desire to learn and enhance personal photography skills
