Highbury Media is a large independent magazine publishing company who is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic soccer intern to work on SASoccermag.co.za.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Post short website news stories
- Post YouTube videos on the website
- Share website stories/videos on SA Soccer‘s Facebook and Twitter accounts using relevant hashtags and tagging players/coaches/teams
- Post photos, cartoons, graphics, etc. on SA Soccer‘s social media accounts, including Instagram
- Tweet score updates during soccer matches
- Research and gather information
Requirements:
- Passion for soccer, digital media and social media
- Have good knowledge of soccer, including technical aspects of the game
- Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure
- Very good English grammar and spelling skills
- Willingness to work outside office hours when requested (including weekends)
- Willingness to learn
- Computer literate
- Proactive and self-disciplined
- A good team player
