GRADUATE INTERNSHIPS AT IZIKO SA NATIONAL GALLERY, CAPE TOWN

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain experience and skills in all aspects of professional work within Iziko Art Collections. They will be given guidance and will work alongside professional curators and conservators, assisting with specific projects.

Graduate Internships at Iziko SA National Gallery, Cape Town
Position: Graduate Internship (two positions)at Iziko SA National Gallery
Period of Internship: 9 months, 3 days per week
Allowance: R14 094 per month
Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Curatorship, Art History or related field.
Experience: Relevant work experience, ability in research methodology, report-writing, and computer skills will be a recommendation
Scope:
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain experience and skills in all aspects of professional work within Iziko Art Collections. They will be given guidance and will work alongside professional curators and conservators, assisting with specific projects. This programme will prepare interns for future careers in the public or private museum and heritage sectors.

  • original certified copy of degrees/diplomas.
