Qualifications:
- Grade 12/N3 or NQF 4 equivalent qualification
- Must be qualified Moulder with a red seal.
Experience and Requirements:
- Preferably 3 years Moulding and Foundry experience.
Personal Attributes:
- Knowledge and technical skills application in the broad spectrum of both planned and unplanned Moulding
- Sound knowledge and application of skills within the trade discipline related to equipment, processes and technology
- Technical acumen and understanding of the General Foundry man discipline
- Good knowledge and application of Foundry practices, procedures and systems
- Basic knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9000, ISO 14001 as well as OSHAS 18001
- Ability to perform quality workmanship and task execution
- Safety and quality conscious
- Performance driven and outcome orientation
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
Key Performance Areas:
- Reporting to and in support of the Foundry Superintendent
- The planning and execution of Foundry tasks within the applicable section and specific area of responsibility
- Manage risk to minimize exposure to safety, environmental and operational hazards within areas of responsibility
- Adhere to and maintain safe working practices and procedures
- Prepared to do standby, call-outs and work overtime when required
- Moulding.
