Job description

We are looking for an outstanding web developer and designer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our websites. Web developer responsibilities include building websites from concept all the way to completion – front-end and back-end design and development included.
Responsibilities

  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Front-end website design
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain website documentation
  • Updating and maintaining existing websites
  • Cooperate with other designers to match visual design when required
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in the related field is required
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar position

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • Solid working experience with CMSs, especially WordPress
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.Net, JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation process
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Experience and excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs

 

Advantageous

  • Good graphic design skills
