Key Performance Outputs:
- Support the development of a strategy for infrastructure and asset management that is integrated and multi- disciplined and enables long term sustainability of the companys assets and infrastructure
- Develop / Adopt standards and guidelines to enable ACSA to achieve energy conservation and efficiency at different stages of new buildings development; refurbishments; asset upgrades; replacement cycles; energy requirements across relevant airport systems.
- Develop/Adopt a robust energy data management system/tool for ACSA to capture, monitor, analyse the consumption and cost data. Develop and Drive interventions that inculcate energy efficiency into ACSA airport operations
- Conduct energy and instrumentation audits and compile audit reports. Manage a sustainability programme designed to achieve cost savings while contributing to environmental protections
- Adhere to all relevant statutory regulations and ensure compliance contract management
- Ensure financial management by compiling business case for capital approvals, as well as determining the project costs and reporting on budget variances
- Assist with the building of technical competence in the organization by providing Energy Management and Technical Leadership in the adoption of new technologies and best practices, as well providing direct mentorship of Engineers and Technicians
- Manage maintenance CAPEX projects in line with set standards. Oversee commission/ testing of projects specifications to sign-off on project delivered.
- Build, support and maintain healthy and diverse internal and external relationships.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- 4 year Degree in B.Sc. / B.Eng. (Hons)/ B.Tech is essential. (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering)
- Seven years experience in Engineering and Contract management
- Three years experience in People and Stakeholder management is essential
- 1 year experience in the Airport environment is recommended
- CEM Accreditation & ECSA registration is recommended
- Membership to ECSA and AEE and Greenbuilding Council of SA is recommended
- Engineering Design, Project and Contract management are essential for this position as well as sound knowledge of Engineering Standards and best practice
- Code B drivers License
- MS Office- Advanced is required
