In this program, candidates are invited to apply for study programs at one of the Gauteng Nursing Colleges: SG Lourens Nursing College, Chris Hani Baragwanath Nursing College or Ann Latsky Nursing College, as Diploma in Nursing (Midwifery, Community and Psychiatry). Requirements to be fulfilled by applicants are; must be 35 years for maximum or younger, must be South African citizen, must be resides in Gauteng, and must be in possession of certificate leaving one of the school of National Certificate (Vocational) A senior Certificate or A national Senior Certificate or Primary Health.
Together, subject criteria as follows are required. For senior certificate, English HG (D) or SG (c) / Biology HG (D) or SG (c) and an M score of 15. For current grade 12, applicants must meet in their Grade 11 marks the National Senior Certificate requirements and for national certificate (Vocational) Primary Health applicants must meet fundamental subjects 50% and Vocational subjects 60%.
