Registration has been extended until the 31st March 2024 for current students and applicants who have been made an offer to study at UWC.
EMS Registration for the period 6 March to 31 March 2024:
Week of 6 March: Mon, Wed and Friday from 11am to 2pm
Week of 13 March:  Mon, Wed and Friday from 11am to 2pm
Week of 20 March:  Wed, Thurs and Friday from 11am to 2pm
Week of 27 March:  Mon, Wed and  Friday from 11am to 2pm

Application for Gap Funding (Missing Middle)
If your combined family income is less than R 600 000.00 and you have not been granted NSFAS funding, and are not a full cost-bursary/scholarship holder, then you may apply to have your upfront and registration fees waivered in order to be cleared for registration purposes only. Please consult the Registration Guide or go to  dhetgrant.uwc.ac.za for more details.

Compulsory Documentation
South African Students

  •           ID Document (original or certified copy)​
  •      The registration fee and first instalment of your fees

Documents Upload

International Students

  • ​​       ​HESA documentation
  •        Passport (original or certified copy)
  •        Proof of medical insurance
  •        Copy of study permit
  •        Full tuition fees including residence fee

​Register Online

STEP 1:
Lo​g-on at: Student Portal​ .
 
STEP 2:
Select Student Portal and it will take you to the Student Authentication Screen. Enter your Student Number, ID or Passport.
STEP 3:
Follow the registration steps on the main menu.
(If you are not allowed to continue with online registration, please contact the UWC call centre at 021 959 3900/01/02 for assistance or visit campus for assisted registration).
STEP 4:
Accept the terms and conditions. An email will be sent to your email account with your proof of registration and class timetable.
 
 
STEP 5:
Print the documentation received and retain it as proof of registration.
Update student card on campus and collect calendar.
