Wits Closing Application Dates 2024

Applications for Masters and PhD degrees by research may be lodged at any time during the year and candidature may commence at any of the four registration periods during the year mainly, January, April, July and September. There are exceptions, however, and applicants are advised to check with the Student Call Centre: 011 717 1888 or click on http://www.wits.ac.za/askwits or contact the appropriate Faculty
Most coursework degrees candidates may only register in January or July dependent on the Faculty. Certain departments may offer programmes in July however applicants are advised to check with the Student Call Centre: 011 717 1888 or email http://www.wits.ac.za/askwits, alternatively you may contact the appropriate Faculty
International applicants please note that the closing date for applications may be even earlier as to allow for the submission of any additional requirements including study permits should your application be successful.
