Description
· Strategic Workforce Planning: Provide guidelines, implement, and apply relevant legal
principles to the Workforce Planning process, supported by analytics and research.
· Develop and Implement appropriate methodologies in the re/design of the workforce and related processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce is maximized.
· Responsible for headcount planning process that aligns with business goals, ACSA permission cycle and Annual Budget cycle, supporting long term plans.
· Provide workforce planning guidance as it relates to equity and market trends that will impact on the business skill requirements and transformation agenda.
· Develop organisational design annual plan and track organisational design performance via approved metrics. Manage and maintain organisational structures.
· Establish, monitor and manage healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with external providers and stakeholders to ensure functional needs are met and organisational goals achieved.
· Deliver accurate reporting to reflect achievement against plan and organizational design performance, trends and improvement requirements.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience, or the equivalent thereof, will be required:
· A Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management / Industrial Psychology / B Com.
· 3 to 5 years’ Operational experience related to Organisation Design.
· A Further advantage will be 2 years’ experience in business quality approaches.
· Experience in analyses, research, report writing, presentation skills.
· The ability to manage contracts, coupled with business plan implementation skill, is recommended.
· Candidates should be proficient in MS Office as well as planning and forecasting tools/systems.
