Students with excellent academic record, however, have problem to finance their education, Harmony bursary programme is your solution. Harmony bursary opportunity offer students either from first year or third year students who are registered at recognized South African higher institution. As a matter of fact, the bursary is designed for various field of studies, but for students who pursue qualification in mining related disciplines, such as, extractive metallurgy, engineering focused on mechanical and electrical (heavy current), mining engineering, geology, and survey, the priority will be given to them.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that students who take other disciplines have no chance. The mission of Harmony bursary programme is that to increase the chance for talents youth of South African, especially for those who live in the communities around Harmony operations sites, for better education. Potential bursars will benefit residence allowance, tuition fee, allowance, and also text book. Securing your position for the bursary opportunity, here are the requirements to follow; (1) be the citizen of South African who hold valid SA identity document, (2) hold national senior certificate with minimum average 60%, (3) potential students aim for Engineering they should obtain minimum average 70% for physical science and math, (3) students who already attended higher institution ensure you achieve at least average 60%, and ensure to tag along your recent academic result, and (5) comprehensive curriculum vitae.
