Apprenticeship For 2024 Available at Transnet

Transnet is offering an apprenticeship to Applicants who wish  to be trained as artisans and Skilled workers at East London, Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage
Fields and Trade of Study:

  • Electro-mechanician
  • Electrician
  • Plater
  • Welder
  • Turner Mechinist

Training will be provided at the following  campuses:

  • Uitenhage Campus: Electro-mechanician, Electrician, Plater, Welder, Turner Mechinist
  • East London Campus: Electrician
  • Port Elizabeth Campus: Electrician

Requirements

  • National Technical certificates level 2 with relevant technical subjects or
  • National Certificate Vocational Level 3 with relevant technical subjects or
  • Technical Matric with relevant trade theory subject

Please also note:

  • SA citizens studying towards these trades or related fields without any other bursary obligation and with outstanding achievements are encouraged to apply
  • Appointments will be made in terms of the company’s EE policy and recruitment and selection policy
  • Please note that NO accommodation and/or transport assistance will be provided

  • Preference will be given to applications considered as youth (under 35 years of age) and who are SA citizen
