Sasol seeks Leaner Technicians in the following areas:Mechanical, Electrical and Control Engineering. The learners will join Sasol on a three year technician-in-training programme (P1 & P2).
The candidate technicians will provide technical support to managers (designated environment) and engineers by applying theoretical skills and making suggestions and implement solutions to optimise systems under supervision.
These positions are based in Secunda, Mpumalanga.

  • Apply safety in all practices, specifically project planning and execution

Performance goals

  • Agree and review personal performance goals (aligned to curriculum) and the achievement thereof
  • Set and work towards set out own performance targets and goals as set out by curriculum
  • Attend six monthly panel reviews to track performance and udjust performance accordingly
Requirements
  • S4 qualification at a University of Technology (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Control Engineering)
  • Driver’s License
  • Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups in line with Sasol’s Employment Equity Plan
