Key Responsibilities
• Direct the operation of all production plant to meet demand in a safe and cost effective manner
• Manage the training needs
• Manage the operating department finances
• Manage the safe efficient decommissioning and recommissioning of plant
• Direct operating related plant incident/accident investigations
• Determine feasibility of technical plan proposals
• Manage human resources activities
• Provide specialist advice and a consultation service
• Participate in meetings, conferences and interventions to address generic problems and concerns
• Participate as member of various committees
